Who is OctoStudio best for?

We are a good fit when you feel like you need a senior design and development team but do not want to hire them in-house. Your current product might no longer matching where the company is going or you might have an idea that needs to become a real product.

We are usually a better fit when you have some traction, and a reason to improve your brand, website, web app, mobile app, or AI product.

What types of projects do you accept?

We design and build brand identities, websites, web apps, mobile apps, and AI products. Some clients come with an existing product ready for its next stage. Others come with an idea and need one senior team to take it from strategy to launch.

Do you actually build, or only design?

Both. Designers and developers work together as one team. We can stop at design if that is all you need, or continue through development. We cover all your needs ranging from brand, web and mobile app designs, to frontend and backend development, AI and automation workflows, and Framer or Webflow builds.

How will we work together?

We mostly work on a subscription, similar to a monthly retainer. It keeps the work moving instead of stopping to recalculate the budget whenever the scope changes. And yes, scope changes. It always does.

You can change your priorities anytime. Just let us know, set the priorities, we work through them one at a time, and we keep you updated throughout.

What does it cost to work with OctoStudio?

Most monthly retainers range from $3,000 to $6,000 USD, depending on the scope, pace, and mix of design and development. Larger or more complex builds can go above that range.

Once we understand the work, we give you one clear monthly number and explain what it covers.

How fast is the turnaround?

Most requests land in about 48 to 72 hours, or 2 to 3 business days. Larger design or development work takes longer, but we keep you updated through a shared task board and Slack as it moves.

What if I need revisions or priorities change?

Revisions are included. Tell us what is not working or move another request to the top of the queue, and we adjust the order. Requests and revisions are handled one at a time so the current priority stays clear.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. We can co-own the whole scope or work alongside your founders, designers, developers, or product team. We make responsibilities and handoffs clear at the start so your existing team knows exactly what we own.

I am not technical. Will I understand the work?

Yes. We explain trade-offs in plain language, show what is changing and why, and tell you when we think something is a bad idea. You should not need to speak design or development to make a clear decision.

Are you another agency that disappears after launch?

One team covers design, product, and development, so there is no handoff between separate vendors. The work stays visible on a shared project board, and the same subscription can continue after launch for whatever comes next.

What if we do not have enough work for a full month?

Pause the subscription. Unused days roll over and wait until you need the team again. Resume when the next priority is ready.

Why not hire an in-house team?
